Women's Basketball Player Garcia Galen Named GSAC Player of the Week
Freshman women’s basketball player Alexandra Garcia Galen (Barcelona, Spain) was named the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) Player of the Week for the week of December 15th-22nd.
Garcia Galen averaged 16 points a game, 6 rebounds per game and 4 assists per game in helping Mercer to their 9th and 10th wins of the season this week. In Mercer's 65-53 win at Salem, Garcia Galen had 18 points, 4 rebounds and 4 assists. Garcia Galen had 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists in the Vikings 83-61 win vs Chesapeake College. Garcia Galen continues to lead the Vikings' offense through her ability to both pass and score.
