Men's Soccer Player Alonso Named GSAC Player of the Week
Sophomore men’s soccer player Manuel Alonso (A Caruna, Spain/IES Rafael Dieste) was named the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) DII Men’s Soccer Player of the Week, for the week ending October 20th.
Alonso had 2 goals and an assist in the Vikings 7-1 win at Lackawanna Saturday, and 3 assists in Mercer's 4-0 win at Monroe Wednesday. Alonso is second on the team in assists, with 8 on the season and his strong play at midfield has helped the Vikings to their 10th straight win and a 14-2-1 record.
