Men's Basketball Player McCain Named GSAC Player of the Week
Freshman Brandon McCain (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick HS) was named the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) Division II Men's Basketball Player of the Week for December 8th-15th.
In Mercer's 97-86 win vs Camden last Thursday, McCain just missed a triple double, finishing with 15 points, nine rebounds and nine assists. McCain also had four blocks and three steals in the win vs Camden. In Mercer's 98-95 loss vs Lackawanna, McCain just missed a double double, finishing with 16 points and nine rebounds. McCain shot 67% in Mercer’s two games last week while averaging 15.5 points per game, nine rebounds a game, five assists per game and three blocks a game.
