Baseball Player Friddell Named GSAC Player of the Week
Sophomore baseball player Owen Friddell (Delran, NJ/Delran HS) was named the GSAC (Garden State Athletic Conference) Player of the Week for March 16th-22nd. Owen Friddell had an impressive performance last week, going 7 for 14 for the Vikings. He had five RBIs, stole three bases, and hit two home runs. In Mercer's 6-5 victory against Bryant & Stratton, Friddell went 3 for 4, with three runs and three RBIs. In another game, the Vikings won 6-2 against Morris, Friddell hit two home runs and scored four runs. He finished the week with a .500 batting average, helping Mercer secure a record of 4-1 for the week.
