Celebrating International Students Day with MCCC Athletics

International Students Day falls on November 17th. On this day, MCCC Athletics wants to recognize the student athletes who have come from abroad to become a part of the Mercer family.

 

MCCC’s athletic teams currently have student athletes from 17 different countries, including the United States.  The men’s soccer team has student athletes from 12 different countries: Brazil, Ecuador, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mali, Mexico, Poland, Scotland (UK), South Africa, Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.  Women’s soccer has student athletes from four different countries: Brazil, Germany, Ireland and Portugal.  Women’s tennis has two student athletes from Venezuela.  Softball has one student athlete from Belgium.
