January 13th is Make Your Dream Come True Day. In honor of this day, we want to tell you how students can make their dreams of playing collegiate athletics at a college with a storied history of athletics success while pursuing a degree in a college that offers many majors and programs, can come true.
If your dream is to play for a strong college athletic program, MCCC can offer that. Mercer men’s soccer has reached the NJCAA National Tournament 37 times, including this past fall and won the National Championship eight times. Mercer women’s tennis has won four National Championships and had 32 All-Americans, twelve of these 32, who earned this honor twice. Mercer men’s basketball remains the only East Coast team to win the NJCAA Division II National Championship
MCCC has had players drafted into the NBA (National Basketball Association), MLB (Major League Baseball) and MLS (Major League Soccer) as well as professional leagues throughout the world. Mercer has had 200 student athletes earn All-American honors.
In 2024, MCCC has had five of its nine sports teams nationally ranked, two teams advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament and four teams were Region Champions. MCCC has had many student athletes graduate and play or transfer and play at four year college following their time at Mercer and continue their dream of playing college sports while pursuing a four year degree.

Mercer has 68 degree programs to help student athletes not just reach their dream of playing college sports but also complete their dream of studying a program and taking classes to allow them to enter or begin their dream career.
