Make Your Dream Come True at MCCC

January 13th is Make Your Dream Come True Day.  In honor of this day, we want to tell you how students can make their dreams of playing collegiate athletics at a college with a storied history of athletics success while pursuing a degree in a college that offers many majors and programs, can come true.

If your dream is to play for a strong college athletic program, MCCC can offer that. Mercer men’s soccer has reached the NJCAA National Tournament 37 times, including this past fall and won the National Championship eight times. Mercer women’s tennis has won four National Championships and had 32 All-Americans, twelve of these 32, who earned this honor twice.  Mercer men’s basketball remains the only East Coast team to win the NJCAA Division II National Championship

MCCC has had players drafted into the NBA (National Basketball Association), MLB (Major League Baseball) and MLS (Major League Soccer) as well as professional leagues throughout the world.  Mercer has had 200 student athletes earn All-American honors.

In 2024, MCCC has had five of its nine sports teams nationally ranked, two teams advanced to the NJCAA National Tournament and four teams were Region Champions.  MCCC has had many student athletes graduate and play or transfer and play at four year college following their time at Mercer and continue their dream of playing college sports while pursuing a four year degree.

If you dreaming of playing for a successful collegiate program that has many majors and programs, including unique majors such as Ornamental Horticulture, Culinary Arts, Aviation, Fashion/Apparel Design, Radiography and Physical Therapy Assistant, MCCC can offer that.  Mercer has 68 degree programs to help student athletes not just reach their dream of playing college sports but also complete their dream of studying a program and taking classes to allow them to enter or begin their dream career.

For students looking to make their dream of playing college sports for a school with a storied and successful athletic program as well as a large number of majors and unique programs, MCCC is the place to be.  Mercer County Community College is a place where student athletes can make their dreams come true and we are grateful to offer this dream opportunity to students not just locally, but around the world.
