MCCC had 57 student athletes earn All-Academic honors for the fall 2023 semester. Students with a GPA of 3.2 and higher earned All-Region Academic honors and students with a GPA 3.0 and higher earned All-Conference Academic honors. Seven student athletes earned President’s List honors, earning a 4.0 GPA for the fall semester.
Eleven baseball players earned All-Region 19 honors. Sophomores Colin Bernhard (Florence, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial), Tyler Gonzalez (East Hartford, CT/Cheshire Academy), Matteo Gravano (Palmyra, NJ/Palmyra HS), Joe Dimino (Millstone, NJ/Allentown HS), Jake Knapp (Clinton, NJ/Voorhees HS), Torin McKenzie (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham), Josh Youngberg (Delran, NJ/Delran HS) and freshmen Matteo Mannino (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington), Ryan Ulisse (Columbus, NJ/Holy Cross), Alex Bischoff (Hamilton, NJ/Allentown HS) and Donny Gallagher (Lambertville, NJ/South Hunterdon) earned All-Region Academic honors for fall 2023.
Ten men’s soccer players were All-Region 19 Academic: sophomores Omolemo Matla (Vereeniging, South Africa/Waterstone College), Teddy Nkamanyi (Cologne, Germany/Gesamtschule Duisburg Mitte), Naoya Obata (Nishitokyo, Japan/Austin Heights International), Kida Yamaguchi (Hiroshima, Japan/Aomori Yamada) and freshmen Noah Bauer (Neunkirchen, Germany/Gymnasium am Kresberg), Max Furrer (Freiburg, Germany/Marie-Curie Gymnasium) , Francesco Quintavalla (Parma, Italy/Convitto Nazionale Maria Luigia), Marcin Gniadzik (Piensk, Poland/Braci Sniadeckich), Erik Carchipulla (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown HS), and Federico Gainotti (Parma, Italy/Giandomenico Romagnosi).
Six men’s lacrosse players earned All-Region 19 All-Academic honors: sophomores Jack Kalinowski (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury), Izzy Miranda (Tampa, FL/Tampa Catholic), Braden Travaglini (Berlin, NJ/Eastern Regional), Tyler Unkert (Milford, NJ/Delaware Valley Regional) and freshmen Nolan Halloran (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury) and Liam Halloran (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury).
Six softball players earned All-Region 19 honors: sophomore Shea Krebs (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville HS) and freshmen Isabella Bonacci (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert), Angelina Guida (Monroe Township, NJ/Monroe Twp.) Makenna Spak (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert), Jess Adams (Levittown, PA/Harry S Truman HS) and Emily Wyzykowski (Westampton, NJ/Rancocas Valley).
Six women’s soccer players earned All-Region 19 All-Academic honors: freshmen Carley Krajscovics (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert), Sarah Kircher (Celle, Germany/Hermann Billung Gymnasium), Annika Maringer (Asperg, Germany/Gymnasium IB), Fiona Madigan (Dublin, Ireland/Fingal Community College), Celina Oliveira (Villa Praia de Ancara, Portugal/Escola Basica e Secodario Do Vale Do Ancura) and sophomore Victoria Woodruff (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert).
Women’s tennis players sophomore Valeria Vargas (Valencia, Venezuela/Instituto Santa Cruz) and freshman Andrea Vasquez (San Felipe, Venezuela/Hightstown HS) and men’s tennis players sophomore Jack Wolfarth (Ewing, NJ/Ewing HS) and freshman Joseph Wong (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrence HS) all earned All-Region All-Academic honors. Sophomore men’s basketball player Justin Carbone (Monmouth Junction, NJ/South Brunswick HS) also earned All-Region All-Academic honors.
An additional thirteen student athletes earned All-Conference Academic honors: freshmen men’s soccer players Lesedi Hlabeli (Guateng, South Africa/Redford House Blue Hills), Anthony Farjada (Axay, Ecuador/Unidad Educativa) and Diego Orquiz (Chihuahua, Mexico/Valle de Mexico), men’s lacrosse players sophomore Theo Deberghes (Howell, NJ/Howell HS) and freshmen Patrick Deluca (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) and Daniel Lynch (Yardley, PA/Pennsbury), baseball sophomores Ryan Mignogna (Ewing, NJ/Notre Dame) and Dyllon King (Old Saybrook, CT/Cheshire Academy), freshman men’s basketball player Joe Lemly (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham), sophomore softball player Abby Bell (Hightstown, NJ/Hightstown HS) and women’s freshmen soccer players Sierra Mitchell (Ewing, NJ/Ewing HS) and Luana Nascimento (Cariacica, Brazil/Colegio Estadual Do Espirito Santo) and freshman women’s tennis player Diana Kalajdzic (East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown HS).
