Ron Stinson has been named the eighth Head Coach of MCCC women’s soccer following the retirement of Coach Elyse Diamond. Stinson takes over a program that finished 15-1 and was undefeated during the regular season in 2022. The Vikings reached the Region 19 Championship last fall, losing to Sussex 1-4 in the title game.
Stinson comes to MCCC with 40 years of experience in soccer as a player, referee, trainer and coach. He attended Kutztown University, where he chose to play rugby instead of soccer. Stinson has been involved in youth sports for over 20 years and has recently served as a coach with the NLSA (Next Level Soccer Academy).
Stinson’s travel teams have had a great deal of success in league and tournament play, winning the Gettysburg Blue/Gray Cup, the EDP Easter Showcase, the FC Europa Turf Cup, the EDP Cup Spring Showcase and the Baltimore Mania Tournament.
Stinson is also a certified Cross-Fit Instructor and certified Physical Training Instructor with the NJ Police Training Commission for police recruits.
Stinson will be assisted by Paul Digristina and Brynn Wilfing. Digristina is the Girls League Rep and a coach with Northern Burlington Soccer Club. Wilfing is a Head Coach and Marketing/Sales Coordinator with NLSA. Wilfing has also been an Assistant Coach at Timberlane Middle School and has coached girls’ teams in the HVSA (Hopewell Valley Soccer Association).
