Mercer women's tennis lost their opening match of the 2014 season, falling to Northampton 3-6.  Sophomore Valerie Gapco (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) won in three sets at 1st Singles, 6-2, 3-6, 10-2 and also got a 8-5 win at 1st Doubles.  Freshman Haley Cortelyou (Hopewell, NJ/Hunterdon Central) got a 6-0, 6-1 win at 2nd Singles and teamed with Gapco for the 8-5 win at 1st Doubles.
