Mercer women's tennis edged Brookdale 5-4 to pick up their fifth win of the season.  Sophomore Valerie Gapco (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had a 3 set win (4-6, 6-1, 7-2) at 1st Singles and freshman Hayley Cortelyou (Hopewell, NJ/Hunterdon Central) got a 7-6, 6-4 win at 2nd Singles.  Freshman Crystal Formaniak (Cranbury, NJ/Hightstown) had default wins at 6th Singles and 3rd Doubles, freshman Laurisa Guillaume (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) had a default win at 5th Singles and sophomore Kelly Runzer (Chesterfield, NJ/Northern Burlington) teamed with Forniak for a default win at 3rd Doubles to give the Vikings the 1 point match win.
