Mercer men's tennis opened the 2018 season with a 5-4 win over Illinois Valley.  Sophomore Greg Del Favero (Bordentown, NJ/Hamilton West) got two wins for the Vikings, a 6-0, 6-0 win at 4th Singles and a 8-4 win at 3rd Doubles.  Sophomore Noah Reyes (Trenton, NJ/Notre Dame) also got two wins for the Vikings, winning 6-0, 6-0 at 6th Singles and teaming with Del Favero for the 8-4 win at 3rd Doubles.  Sophomore Xavier Shuda (Ewing, NJ/Ewing) got a 6-3, 6-1 win at 1st Singles and freshman James Bueno (Trenton, NJ/Trenton Catholic Academy) got a 6-4, 6-4 win at 3rd Singles.
