Mercer softball (24-9) opened the Region 19 Playoffs with a 5-3 win over Burlington in the double elimination tournament, hosted by the County College of Morris.  Sophomore pitcher Kiele Eichlin (Milford, NJ/Delaware Valley Regional) struck out five in four innings and freshman pitcher Megan Mount (Frenchtown, NJ/Delaware Valley Regional) came in relief and got her fourth win of the season.  Freshman Casey Murphy (Hillsborough, NJ/Hillsborough) had 2 RBIs and freshman Jennifer Walker (Levittown, PA/Neshaminy) went 2 for 4 with a double and RBI.  Freshman Rachael Levach (Burlington, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial) was 2 for 4 with an RBI and sophomore Lyndsey Buckley (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) added an RBI in the win.  With the wins, the Vikings play #2 seed Del Tech Owens in the Winner Bracket of the Region 19 Tournament.
