Mercer softball swept their doubleheader vs. visiting Lackawanna to pick up two big Region 19 wins.  In Game 1, the Vikings won 4-1.  Freshman Courtney Whittaker (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) went 3 for 3 with a home run and RBI and sophomore Erica Benedetti (Ewing, NJ/Ewing) was 2 for 2 with an RBI.  Sophomore Stacie Denucci (Levittown, PA/Conwell-Egan) added an RBI and freshman pitcher Kaitlyn Cegielski (Stockton, NJ/Hunterdon Central) picked up her 10th win of the season.
