Mercer softball swept their doubleheader vs. Northampton played at Diamond Nation in Flemington, NJ.  In Game 1, the Vikings won 9-1 and freshman pitcher Kaitlyn Cegielski (Stockton, NJ/Hunterdon Central) struck out 10 in route to her 7th win of the season.  Sophomore Courtney Clee (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs and sophomore Alyssa Bauer (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central) was 2 for 4 with a triple and 2 RBIs.  Sophomore Brianna Castellano (Trenton, NJ/Hamilton West) had an RBI and run and freshman Lyndsey Buckley (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) scored 2 runs in the win.
