Mercer softball split their doubleheader at Cumberland in their first set of games in New Jersey this season.  In Game 1, the Vikings won 6-4 to move to 7-2 on the season.  Freshman Rachael Levach (Burlington, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial) went 2 for 4 with 3 RBIs and freshman Kristen Cheesman (Clinton, NJ/North Hunterdon) was 2 for 4 with a double, 2 runs and RBI.  Freshman Bailey Ferrara (Frenchtown, NJ/Delaware Valley Regional) added 2 RBIs in the win.  Sophomore pitcher Kaitlyn Cegielski (Stockton, NJ/Hunterdon Central) struck out 4 and allowed just one earned run in 7 innings pitched to pick up her third win of the season.
