Myrtle Beach, SC -

Mercer softball (7-1) got another easy win in Myrtle Beach, beating Southwest, IA 11-1.  Sophomore Brianna Castellano (Trenton, NJ/Hamilton West) went 2 for 3 with 3 RBIs, 2 runs and a triple and freshman Courtney Whittaker (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) continued to have a hot bat, going 3 for 4 with 3 runs, an RBI, a double and a triple.  Sophomore Courtney Clee (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) was 2 for 2 with an RBI and sophomore Morgan Cullen (Bristol, PA/Bristol) added 2 RBIs in the win.  Freshman pitcher Kaitlyn Cegielski moved to 4-1 on the season, striking out 8 in 6 innings.
