Mercer softball suffered their first loss of the 2014 season in their Snowbird Classic opener in Myrtle Beach, SC, as the Vikings fell to Sauk Valley, Ilinois 1-6.  Freshman pitcher Kaitlyn Cegielski (Stockton, NJ/Hunterdon Central) had 6 strikeouts in the loss and sophomore Courtney Clee (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) had 2 hits and a run scored.
