In a battle between two top-20 ranked teams, 13th ranked Mercer men's soccer (7-1-1) tied the top ranked team in NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer, Monroe College 2-2 in double overtime.  Freshman Eichii Yamaguchi (Osaka, Japan/Yonago Kita) had a goal and an assist in the tie. Sophomore Emiliano Fama (Miami, FL/Penn Foster) scored a late second half goal to tie the game 2-2 and force overtime.  Freshman Diego Leite (Rio de Janiero, Brazil/Sistema GAU De Ensino) added an assist and freshman goalkeeper Francesco Zanin (Genova, Italy/Ruffini) had eight saves in the tie.
