Mercer men's soccer battled Northeast District rival, ASA of New York, to a 1-1 tie after two overtime periods to move to 8-0-1 on the season.  The Vikings trailed 0-1 when sophomore Yannick Ntone (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) scored the lone Mercer goal of the game off an assist from sophomore Julian Gonzalez (Miami, FL/John Ferguson) in the first half.  Sophomore goalkeeper Kellen Groover (Roebling, NJ/Life Center Academy) had ten saves in the tie.  The Vikings next host Region rival Essex on Wednesday, September 23rd at 6:00 PM.
