Mercer men's soccer (1-1) lost their first game of the season, falling to Montgomery, MD 1-5 in a game played at CCBC-Essex.  Freshman Jared Rogers (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick) had the lone Vikings' goal off an assist from freshman Julian Gonzalez (Miami, FL/John Ferguson).  Freshman goalkeeper Kellen Groover (Roebling, NJ/Life Center Academy) had 5 saves in the loss.  The Vikings will play CCBC-Essex in their second game of a weekend trip in Maryland.
