Mercer men's soccer opened the 2016 season with a 2-2 tie after double overtime at Suffolk.  Freshman Anthony Remboski (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) scored the first Vikings goal and sophomore Jared Rogers (North Brunswick, NJ/North Brunswick) added a goal on a penalty kick.  Heading into the match, the Vikings were ranked 16th in NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer and Suffolk was ranked 6th in NJCAA Division III Men's Soccer.  The Vikings travel to Hagerstown for a 12:00 PM game on Saturday, August 27th and host their home opener Sunday, August 28th at 12:00 PM vs. CCBC-Catonsville.
