Mercer men's soccer (18-3-1) beat Massasoit 2-0 in the Semifinals of the Northeast District Tournament to earn their first trip to the NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer National Championship since 2008.  The Northeast District receives two bids to the National Championship this year and the win over Massasoit gave the Vikings their first bid to Nationals in nine years.  Freshmen Oshana Boothe (Kingston, Jamaica/St. George's College) and Eiichi Yamaguchi (Osaka, Japan/Yonago Kita) each scored a goal and sophomore Adir Versano (Azor, Israel/Orf Holon) and freshman Jonathan Ward (Forest Lake, Australia/Forest Lake HS) each added an assist.  Mercer will face Monroe (Bronx) in the Northeast District Championship game at 12:00 PM on Sunday.
