Mercer men's soccer tied rival Rowan College @ Burlington 2-2 after two overtimes.  Sophomore Guilherme Franca (Sao Paulo, Brazil/Colegio Amorim) scored the first goal of the game off an assist from sophomore Shiekh Bangura (Hamilton, NJ/Life Center Academy).  Burlington scored two goals late in the first half to take a 2-1 lead at the half.  Freshman Gonnie Ben-Tal (Tel-Aviv, Israel/Irony Dalet) tied the game with 25 minutes left in the second half, off an assist from freshman Arinze Iloka (Trenton, NJ/Life Center Academy).  Sophomore goalkeeper Kellen Groover (Roebling, NJ/Life Center Academy) had seven saves in the tie.  The Vikings are currently 13-0-2 on the season.  Mercer has two weekend games, travelling to Union for a 1:00 PM game Saturday, October 17th and on Sunday, October 18th, the Vikings travel to Sussex for a 11:00 AM game.
