Mercer baseball's 2014 season came to an end in the elimination bracket of the NJCAA Division II World Series, following a 3-13 loss to Pasco-Hernando, Florida in 5 innings.  The Vikings gave up six unearned runs in the bottom of the first inning and trailed 0-9 after that inning.  Freshman Shane Monahan (Levittown, PA/Truman) had a two run home run in the top of the second inning and sophomore Steven Todd (Millstone, NJ/Allentown) went 2 for 3 with an RBI in the loss.  The Vikings finish the season 40-8.
