West Windsor, NJ -

Mercer baseball (22-3) swept a Region doubleheader, beating visiting Morris in both games.  In Game 1, the Vikings won 5-0 and were led by another strong performance from sophomore pitcher Heath Fillmyer (Roebling, NJ, Florence Twp.) who struck out 13 in 7 shutout innings.  Sophomore Mark Tomei (South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) had 2 RBIs and freshman David Osnato (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) added an RBI in the win.  Freshman James Rice (Middlesex, NJ/Immaculata) went 2 for 2 and freshman Edward Ashley (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) was 2 for 4 with in the win.
