Mercer baseball (33-4) split their doubleheader at rival Lackawanna.  In Game 1, the Vikings lost 5-6.  Sophomore pitcher Ben Stine (Lebanon, NJ/North Hunterdon) struck out 6 in 6 innings in his first loss of the season.  Freshman David Osnato (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) was 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 RBIs and freshman Edward Ashley (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) went 2 for 4 with a home run and RBI.  Sophomore Mark Tomei (South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) went 4 for 4 with a run and sophomore Steven Todd (Millstone, NJ/Allentown) and freshman Joe Santospago (Doylestown, PA/Archbishop Wood) each added an RBI in the loss.
