Mercer baseball lost to Cumberland 4-5 after giving up 3 runs in the top of the ninth.  Sophomore pitcher Nick Economos (Worcester, MA/Worcester Academy) struck out 7 in 6.1 innings.  Sophomore Joe Santospago (Doylestown, PA/Archbishop Wood) went 3 for 4 with a RBI and sophomore Nick Kagel (Lawrenceville, NJ/Lawrence) went 2 for 4 with an RBI in the loss.  Freshman Brandon Abdul (Matawan, NJ/Old Bridge) and sophomore Shane Monahan (Levittown, PA/Truman) each had a double and RBI in the game.
