Myrtle Beach, SC -

Mercer baseball moved to 9-0 with a 6-5 win over Nassau CC in Myrtle Beach.  Freshman David Osnato (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs and freshman James Rice (Middlesex, NJ/Immaculata) was 2 for 3 with a double, run and RBI.  Sophomore Mark Tomei (South Plainfield, NJ/South Plainfield) had 2 hits including a triple and added an RBI and 2 runs and freshman Edward Ashley (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) had 2 hits and a run in the win.  Sophomore Heath Fillmyer (Roebling, NJ/Florence Twp.) and freshman Joe Santospago (Doylestown, PA/Archbishop Wood) each had an RBI in the win and sophomore pitcher Charles Paul (Burlington, NJ/Holy Cross) picked up his first save of the season, striking out 3 in 1.2 innings.
