Myrtle Beach, SC -

Mercer baseball started off their trip to Myrtle Beach with a 4-2 win over Danville, IL to move to 8-0 on the season.  Freshman Matt Gall (Shamong, NJ/Seneca) got his first collegiate win, throwing 6 shutout innings.  Sophomore Heath Fillmyer (Roebling, NJ/Florence Twp.) had an RBI and 2 runs and freshman Edward Ashley (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) added an RBI in the win.
