Mercer baseball moved to 7-0 before they head to Myrtle Beach for 9 games with a 8-2 win over visiting Middlesex.  Freshman Dylan Barlow (East Windsor, NJ/Hightstown) got his first collegiate win.  Freshman James Rice (Middlesex, NJ/Immaculata) went 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs and freshman David Osnato (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) added 2 RBIs in the win.  Freshman Mike Petrizzi (Levittown, PA/Conwell-Egan) added a double and 2 RBIs and sophomore Anthony Sweet (Woodlyne, NJ/Pennsauken) went 2 for 4 with 2 runs and an RBI.  Pitchers Kalyb Smith (Levittown, PA/Notre Dame), Matt Gall (Shamong, NJ/Seneca), Rafael Tous (Ringoes, NJ/Immaculata) and Charles Paul (Burlington, NJ/Holy Cross) combined for 4 shutout innings in relief to secure the Vikings win.
