Mercer baseball (10-2) beat John Wood (IL) 8-1 in their second game in Myrtle Beach.  Sophomore Sid Kumar (West Windsor, NJ/West Windsor North) had a home run and 3 RBIs and sophomore Gabriel Castillo (Yonkers, NY/HS for Environmental Studies) went 3 for 4 with two doubles and an RBI.  Freshman Peter Nielsen (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Twp.) struck out ten in seven innings in his first collegiate win.
