Mercer softball won their twelth straight game, following a 17-1 Game 2 win over Suffolk, NY.  Sophomore Brianna Castellano (Trenton, NJ/Hamilton West) had a big game at the plate, going 4 for 4 with a home run and 4 RBIs.  Sophomore Alyssa Bauer (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central) went 3 for 4 with 2 RBIs and sophomore pitcher Erica Benedetti (Ewing, NJ/Ewing) struck out 5 in 5 innings to move to 2-0 on the season.  Sophomores Courtney Clee (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) and Morgan Cullen (Bristol, PA/Bristol) and freshman Jessica Fremgen (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) each had 2 RBIs in the win.
