Mercer softball (33-7) lost 0-2 to Lackawanna in the Winners' Bracket of the Region Tournament.  The loss drops Mercer to the Losers' Bracket where they will face #1 seed Morris in an elimination game Sunday at 11:00 AM.  Freshman pitcher Kaley Wise (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) struck out seven in seven innings in only her third loss in twenty outings this season.  The Vikings managed only five hits off Lackawanna, the #4 seed and eventual Region 19 Champion.  Freshman Tatum Marshall (Bordentown, NJ/Florence Twp.) went 2 for 3 and freshman Carly Bailey (Clarksburg, NJ/Allentown) went 1 for 2 in the loss.
