Mercer softball (24-4) won Game 2 of their doubleheader, beating CCBC-Catonsville 9-1 in 5 innings. Sophomore pitcher Stacie Denucci (Levittown, PA/Conwell-Egan) had 5 strikeouts in 5 innings to move to 10-1 on the season.  Sophomore Alyssa Bauer (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central) had a huge day at the plate, going 4 for 4 with two doubles, a triple and home run and 3 RBIs.  Sophomore Courtney Clee (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) went 2 for 4 with a home run and 3 RBIs and freshman Courtney Whittaker (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) was 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs.  Freshman Robin Antozzeski (Bordentown, NJ/Bordentown Regional) went 2 for 4 with an RBI and freshman Lyndsey Buckley (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) added 2 hits and a run in the win.
