Mercer softball (15-7) edged Monroe (Bronx) 3-2 in Game 2 of their doubleheader.  Sophomore pitcher Kiele Eichlin (Milford, NJ/Delaware Valley Regional) struck out 9 in seven innings in route to her fifth win of the season.  Freshman Rachael Levach (Burlington, NJ/Florence Twp. Memorial) went 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs and freshman Kristen Cheesman (Clinton, NJ/North Hunterdon) added an RBI in the win.
