Myrtle Beach, SC -

Mercer baseball fell to 2-2 following a 1-5 loss to Triton, IL in Myrtle Beach.  Freshman pitcher Mark Scarpa (Sewell, NJ/Washington Twp.) had 9 strikeouts in 4 1/3 innings in the loss.  Sophomore David Osnato (Hamilton, NJ/Hamilton West) went 2 for 4 and sophomore Joe Santospago (Doylestown, PA/Archbishop Wood) had the lone Viking RBI of the game.
