Mercer baseball (3-1) rebounded from a Game 1 loss to UConn Avery Point to come back with a 16-4 Game 2 win in a doubleheader played at Diamond Nation in Flemington, NJ.  Sophomore Anthony Peroni (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) went 2 for 2 with a home run and 2 RBIs and freshman Osvaldo Millet (Miami, FL/TERRA Environmental) had a home run and 3 RBIs.  Freshman Alejando Vazquez (Miami, FL/Miami Coral Park) went 3 for 4 with a double and RBI and freshman Kenny Zahn (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) was 1 for 1 with an RBI.  Sophomore Andrew Avots (Cranbury, NJ/South Brunswick) and freshman Sean McGeehan (Hamilton, NJ/Nottingham) each had an RBI and 2 runs scored in the win.  Sophomore pitcher Mike Novello (Flemington, NJ/Hunterdon Central) struck out six in five innings for his first win of the season.
