Mercer softball (11-2) softball swept Rowan at Gloucester in their first doubleheader since returning from Myrtle Beach, winning Game 1, 8-6.  Freshman pitcher Kaley Wise (Hamilton, NJ/Steinert) moved to 8-0 on the season, striking out five in six innings.  Freshman Alisha Patel (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Twp.) was a perfect 4 for 4 with 2 RBIs and freshman Rachel Taylor (Hamilton, NJ/Northern Burlington) went 3 for 4 with two doubles and three runs.  Sophomore Tori Carpenter (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) had two RBIs and freshmen Wise and Tatum Marshall (Bordentown, NJ/Florence Twp.) each added an RBI in the win.
