Mercer softball (7-2) softball fell to Herkimer 3-5 in Myrtle Beach.  Freshman Tatum Marshall (Bordentown, NJ/Florence Twp.) went 2 for 4 with a double and RBI and freshman Rachel Taylor (Hamilton, NJ/Northern Burlington) had a home run and RBI.  Sophomore pitcher Kaitlin Stahlbrand (Robbinsville, NJ/Robbinsville) struck out five in five innings in the loss.  Sophomores Tori Carpenter (Mount Holly, NJ/Rancocas Valley) and Laura Gould (Burlington, NJ/Burlington Twp.) and freshman Sophia Beretski (Levittown, PA/Neshaminy) each had two hits in the loss.
