Mercer baseball moved to 30-8 following two wins in a doubleheader at Valley Forge.  The Vikings won Game 1, 20-1 in seven innings.  Freshman pitcher Peter Nielsen (Freehold, NJ/Freehold Twp.) struck out seven in seven innings for his second win of the season.  Sophomore Jordan Gonzalez (Manalapan, NJ/Colts Neck) had a huge day at the plate, going 4 for 5 with 6 RBIs and a home run and was a triple away from hitting for the cycle.  Sophomore Gabriel Castillo (Yonkers, NY/HS for Environmental Studies) went 4 for 6 with a home run and 2 RBIs and sophomore Anthony Boselli (Ventnor, City, NJ/Holy Spirit) went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 RBIs.  Sophomore Erik Bowren (Doylestown, PA/Archbishop Wood) was 2 for 3 with a home run and 3 RBIs and sophomore Nick Dabrio (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Memorial) went 2 for 3 with 2 RBIs.  Freshman Kellen Hardy (Branchburg, NJ/Somerville) went 2 for 2 with a home run and RBI and freshman AJ Arias (East Brunswick, NJ/East Brunswick) went 1 for 2 with an RBI.  Freshman George Curbelo (Miami, FL/Miami Coral Park) went 2 for 2 with 2 runs and sophomore Dan Shane (Perkasie, PA/Pennridge) added an RBI in the Game 1 win.
