MCCC to Host Benefit Reception with Author of Holocaust Book for Children

The Mercer County Holocaust-Genocide Resource Center and MCCC invite the community to a reception and reading with award-winning children's author Rebecca Upjohn on Wednesday, Nov. 19.

Award-winning children's book by Rebecca Upjohn tells the uplifting rescue story of Shelly and Michael Zeiger.


MCCC, Rider Sign Transfer Agreement for Elementary Education Majors

Mercer students pursuing a career in Elementary Education now have a clearer path to their bachelor's degree with the signing of a transfer articulation agreement with Rider University.

Community "Discovers Mercer!" During October Open House

MCCC faculty and staff welcomed the community to the "Discover YOUR Community College" open house on Oct. 18. The Student Center was the hub of activity for hundreds of visitors, who included prospective students, current students, family members, alumni, and members of the Board of Trustees and MCCC Foundation.

New Simulator, Intensive Training for Aviation Students Yields Dividends

Pilots who earn their associate degrees from Mercer will need fewer hours of flight time to earn their Air Transport Pilot Certificate, and have begun training using an Elite RC1000 training simulator.

Planting the Seeds

A lifelong resident of Robbinsville, Timothy Serinese '00 (A.S, Plant Science) did not go far to get the college education he was looking for. Serinese is the owner of Timothy's Center for Gardening on Route 130 in Robbinsville. His business is the current iteration of a family enterprise that began with his grandfather.

CTI Student Wows Judges

While many students have their noses in a book or are glued to their computer as they study for final exams, Career Training Institute culinary student Giovanni Alvarez, of Trenton, arrived at Mercer's Center City Cafe at 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 22 to begin preparation for a lunchtime meal that brought rave reviews.
