President's Welcome

Dr. Jianping Wang

Welcome to Mercer County Community College!

At Mercer, we are proud to serve our students and communities through a commitment to student success and life-long learning. From summer camps for children and teens to certificate and degree programs for traditional students to opportunities for personal enrichment for retirees, there is truly something for everyone at Mercer County Community College. Your success is our first priority.

With more than 100 certificate and degree programs, Mercer provides a quality and affordable education for approximately 12,000 students each year on its West Windsor and the James Kerney Campus in Trenton, and MercerOnline. MCCC also serves the community via cultural offerings through our art galleries and theater, youth programs, summer camps, and career training programs at the Division of Life-long Learning. Every year, more than 50,000 area residents experience what Mercer has to offer.

At Mercer, we are dedicated to our communities through our close ties with businesses and community organizations. The recent addition of eight innovative experiential learning programs allow students to "earn while they learn," with opportunities for employment after graduation. Students with the goal of earning a bachelor's degree can do so with ease through the college's University Center, where five of the region's finest universities offer four-year degree programs on Mercer's West Windsor Campus, with additional opportunities to be added at the JKC Campus in Trenton. In addition, MCCC partners with more than 100 four-year colleges to provide a seamless transfer experience, thus allowing MCCC students to earn a bachelor's degree from top-tier universities for less than half of the cost.

Thank you for visiting our website. I invite you to plan a trip to one of our campuses to learn more about what Mercer has to offer, or contact our Admissions Office for more information. Education is an investment that truly lasts a lifetime, and at Mercer County Community College, we are eager to help you achieve your career goals and your American dream.

Sincerely,
