On-Site Administrative Coordinator and Advisor - William Paterson University (WPU) seeks an administrative coordinator and advisor for its On-Site Degree Completion Program on the campus of Mercer County Community College (MCCC). This position is responsible for day-to-day communications between MCCC and WPU faculty, staff, and students; provides information and advice for prospective and current students and facilitates contact between students and other administrative offices on the WPU campus such as Financial Aid and Student Accounts. S/he organizes recruitment and orientation events, and works to ensure the success of these events.

Bachelor’s degree required (master’s preferred), familiarity with issues of higher education transfer articulation and process, admissions, advisement, disabilities, and financial aid programs and processes strongly preferred.

The selected candidate will work a flexible half-time schedule of 17.5 hours per week, to include evenings and weekends which may vary depending on activity and demand. A valid driver’s license and occasional travel within central NJ as well as to the WPU campus is required.

Most positions within our credit course program require a master’s degree in related field and prior college teaching experience. In some fields, relevant experience may be substituted for a master’s degree. Non-credit course positions require a bachelor’s degree with experience in related topic and some teaching experience, unless specified.
