Executive Director of Financial and Accounting Services [Full-Time] Finance & Accounting Services is seeking an Executive Director, reporting to the Vice President for Administration and Chief Business Officer. This position is responsible for leading the day-to-day financial operations of the College, including providing management and direction of accounting policies, procedures, and controls, monthly accounting information and reporting, endowment investments, oversight of State and Federal funding programs, proficiency in government accounting standards (GASB, GAAP and non-profit), and reporting and management of external audits. The successful candidate will have a working understanding of net revenue, as well as billing, payables, payroll, fixed assets, and all general ledger account reconciliations. Additional responsibilities include preparing the College and Foundation budgets, financial analyses, annual financial reports for audit, and performing additional tasks or duties as assigned.

Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting (or related field) or a CPA required. A minimum of 5-year experience in financial management supervising professional staff, preferably in a Higher Education institutions. Audit and fund accounting in a public sector business and/or higher education necessary. Must possess solid knowledge of accounting principles, budget-related administrative assignments and budget management, management practices within a complex budgetary environment. Proficiency in the use of financial system applications such as Ellucian’s Colleague system, knowledge of Microsoft Office and other administrative software applications.
