Announcer (Classical Music) [Part-time] – WWFM Radio, licensed to Mercer County Community College, seeks an Announcer for its classical radio network. WWFM The Classical Network began broadcasting on September 6, 1982 and has grown into a full time classical music station serving New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania and portions of Delaware and Maryland. WWFM The Classical Network continues to expand its reach beyond these regions with simulcast programming via satellite to an additional translator in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. The Classical Network web casts its programming, reaching listeners through the Internet at www.wwfm.org. The most qualified individual shall have a thorough knowledge of classical music, literature and pronunciation with an emphasis on opera and basic knowledge of radio production. Digital editing skills highly preferred. Must be able to work flexible hours, in production studio and/or live on-air. Must be able to assemble and produce classical music programs for radio/web. Head Coach, Intercollegiate Women's Cross Country [Part-time] - The Athletics Department of Mercer County Community College will make women's cross country its ninth varsity sport. MCCC is a member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA), Region XIX and the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC). The 17-member GSAC has seven schools that are scheduled to compete in women's cross country during the 2009-10 school year. The Head Coach will teach individual/Team Cross Country concepts to student athletes while enforcing safety rules, policies, procedures and regulations set forth by MCCC, The GSAC, Region 19 and the NJCAA. The selected candidate must be available to work five days a week during the regular season, two practices per week during Spring training and at least four hours per week during Summer late recruitment periods. Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid driver's license and ability to drive a 15 passenger vehicle for team travel is required. CPR, AED, First Aid certification is preferred.
