  • Wednesday, May 19, 2010 - Thursday, May 27, 2010

  • Students can take any of these courses:
          -- HOS115 - Food and Culture (Gen. Ed.)
          -- ARC141 - Architecture and Culture:
    International
          -- Non-credit offering

  • Credit course will be a
          10-week Spring 2010 offering.

  • Credit courses include 45 hours of instruction
          taught by MCCC faculty
          -- 21 hours of instruction pre-trip
          -- 21 hours of guided tours, demonstration,
             and instruction during the trip.
          -- 3 hours of post-trip presentation and wrap-up.

  • Trip includes:
          -- 4 days Campania, 5 days Rome
          -- Cheese demonstration, cooking class, driving tour of Amalfi Coast, visits to Basilica, Temples, museums, Mt. Vesuvius, Pompeii, the Colosseum, St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican Museums, and more.

  • Trip cost of $3100 includes:
          -- Airfare and hotel (3 star, double occupancy), taxes, breakfasts, 24-hour tour guide, excursions, cultural activities, private coach touring except Rome, tips and gratuities, comprehensive travel insurance.
          -- Trip does not include: lunches and dinners, baggage fees, course tuition.

  • We will require students to purchase travel insurance; includes health, cancellation, and property coverage. This cost will be included in the trip price.

  • A $500 non-refundable deposit is due by Oct. 5, 2009.

  • Liability and Risk
          -- Students will be expected to obtain a passport and doctor validation that they are eligible to travel internationally.

  • Saturday, June 5, 2010 - Sunday, June 13, 2010

  • Students can take either of these courses:
          -- BUS230 - Global Environment of Business
    (Gen. Ed.)
          (Students who have already completed BUS230
          are also eligible to join this trip. Inquire for details.)
          -- Non-credit offering

  • Credit course will be a
          Summer 2010 A-session offering.

  • Credit courses include 45 hours of instruction
          taught by MCCC faculty
          -- 12 hours of instruction pre-trip
          -- 30 hours of guided tours, demonstration,
             and instruction during the trip.
          -- 3 hours of post-trip presentation and wrap-up.

  • Trip includes:
          -- 3 days Frankfurt, 3 days Zurich, 3 days Geneva
          -- Tours of Frankfurt Stock Exchange, European Central Bank, WTO, UN, European University, and three European businesses, including a U.S. subsidiary.

  • Trip cost of $3350 includes:
          -- Airfare and hotel (3 star, double occupancy), taxes, breakfasts, 2 dinners, 24-hour tour guide, excursions, cultural activities, private coach touring except Geneva, tips and gratuities, comprehensive travel insurance.
          -- Trip does not include: lunches and most dinners, baggage fees, course tuition.
