Property Management Certificate

Property Management is a career field that offers you a diverse range of opportunities, while utilizing a wide range of personal and technical skills. This certificate will enable you to gain the confidence and knowledge to enter an exciting and rewarding profession.

Property managers are often the primary link between the owner of the facility and the tenant, and they oversee the day to day management of commercial and residential properties. All property managers must understand and enforce the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Federal Fair Housing Act. Graduates of the certificate program may be eligible to receive up to nine college credits when they enroll in the MCCC Business Management A.A.S. program within two years of completing the certificate. All courses can be taken on a non-certificate basis.

This certificate* includes 10 core courses, 128 hours of paid Field Experience and two electives.

*This certificate does not meet the licensing requirements of New Jersey and Pennsylvania to provide service as a property management firm. The States of New Jersey and Pennsylvania require that a property management firm must be conducted by a real estate broker or a licensed real estate salesperson working under the authority of an employing broker.
