MCCC Enrollment Services Office Announces Fall Semester Information Sessions

06/24/20

West Windsor, N.J. – As students make pivotal decisions regarding their upcoming fall semester, Mercer County Community College (MCCC) will be offering Fall 2020 course virtual information sessions for current and prospective students via Zoom. These sessions on MCCC’s course options will provide clarity to students regarding the three formats of instruction, while emphasizing that each modality adheres to CDC guidelines to ensure that optimal health and educational goals are being met.

All courses for the Fall 2020 semester will be offered in one of the following three formats:

Remote Instruction - Remote courses were designed to be taught in a classroom but are being offered as a form of distance education due to the emergency conditions. Some remote classes will use scheduled class times for virtual meetings, while others might not have scheduled class meeting times.

Online Instruction – Online courses were designed to be taught in an online setting. Unless otherwise noted, online courses were developed to be taught without specific meeting times.

Hybrid Instruction – Hybrid courses are a combination of the traditional face-to-face instruction and remote/online sessions. This may include some on-campus labs with remote lectures, reduced in-classroom time, or other instructional designs that meet the needs of the course materials.
