While the private donor scholarships, amounts and application deadlines vary, most scholarships for continuing students must be applied for in the Spring semester prior to the next academic year. The deadline to apply for scholarships for graduating students is March 15. One key to receiving a scholarship is to apply early.

For both continuing and graduating students, scholarship recipients are selected in mid-May, with notifications of financial support mailed to students in June. Students receiving a scholarship will sign an agreement and be asked to visit the Financial Aid office to review the agreement and conditions of the scholarship.

Scholarships are awarded in June for the following Fall and Spring semesters. Reallocations are made in January, provided the recipient continues to meet the specific scholarship criteria (achieving required grades, minimum credit enrollment, etc.).

Student scholarship recipients are honored at convocations held twice each year -- continuing students in the Fall and graduating students in May.
