Find your Coach!!!

You will be assigned a personal academic coach to assist you with navigating your first semester. It is important that you identify and contact your coach early. Click here to find out about Success Coaching:

Student ID, Student email, Student portal

After you complete the online application, you will be sent a student ID number to the email address you provided in the application. Get this student id and keep it. You will need this student id to register for classes.

After the application process is complete, you will be assigned a Mercer email address. All Mercer correspondence going forward will be sent to this Mercer email address. Access your Mercer email

You will have a student portal. You register for classes, check your grades, pay tuition, etc from the student portal. Login to the portal:

Choosing the Right Courses, Registration, Enrollment, Advisement

The right courses will depend on your placement test score and your major. Different degree programs require that you complete different courses.

First-time students - It is important to visit the advisement center to select courses for your first semester. The Advisement center is a place where you can meet with an In-take advisor and schedule your first semester classes. Learn more...

Returning students - It is important that you meet with the academic advisor for your selected major. These are faculty who have specific specialization in your chosen major. Check here for your major's academic advisor

After advisement, you can register for the right courses through your student portal. Login to the portal:

Orientation

Orientation is required for all first time students! Before orientation, sign up for you classes and bring your schedule.

Sign up for an Orientation through the First 30 Office.

Paying for College

Payment is due at the time of registration.

Tuition and fees

Financial Aid applications take 6-8 weeks to process. Learn more about Financial Aid

Tuition payments are made at the Bursar’s Office.
