Have you ever wanted to be the voice everyone hears on commercials and documentaries? You CAN become a Professional Voiceover Artist! In this fun and interactive class, you will learn some of the details of the industry. Your instructor will coach you while recording your voice. Be warned; many who have taken this class have gone on to become paid professional voice actors! This class is instructed by a professional voice actor from the voice acting training company, Voices for All. Cost: $50

Introduction to Beekeeping

Have you taken this popular class yet? If not, now is the time! Beekeeping is an enjoyable and fascinating hobby that allows you to harvest your own honey. Taking a dose of local honey each day has been proven to improve seasonal allergies and what better honey than the honey you harvest on your own! Learn the basics necessary to start and care for your bees. We will cover all aspects of entry level beekeeping. No prior experience or knowledge of beekeeping is required. Textbook is required and available in the college bookstore. Optional field trip strongly encouraged. Date to be discussed in class. Cost: $84

Frequently Asked Questions and Answers about Filing Your Taxes

Tax time can be confusing, frustrating, and anxiety-producing.  This course will give you a better idea of how to complete federal tax returns for individuals, families, and small businesses, including various types of investments.  What do deduct.  How the Affordable Care Act affects your taxes.  How to manage the amount of your refunds.  What to do is a spouse (or ex-spouse) is improperly using part of your refund.  What to do if the IRS sends you a letter. You will work with actual IRS forms and publications to understand the issues behind the questions.  What you and claim and what you should not.  How the calculations work.  How to accurately report what you did, improve your results, and avoid problems.  Things most software does not show you. Cost: $60

IEP Development: Understanding Law and Applying Best Practices

Educators and related/support service providers of student with disabilities benefit from understanding how law underpins Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development and drives best practice. This course will review and discuss sections of an IEP while providing tips, strategies, resources, as well as practice on effective IEP writing and development. Learn how to incorporate data and provide essential information for supporting students with disabilities receiving public education in New Jersey. This course aligns with the New Jersey's Standards for Professional Learning requirements and provides 10 professional development (PD) hours for educators. 1.0 CEU.Cost: $60

This program provides a comprehensive overview for anyone who wants to learn about memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, and other forms of dementia. Information about risk factors and warning signs, steps to obtaining a diagnosis, and treatment options are discussed. Planning for the future, coping with behavioral and other changes, and accessing community resources are also reviewed. Cost: $10
