Arabic I
This course introduces the fundamental elements of modern standard Arabic language within the cultural context of Arabic-speaking people. Emphasis is placed on the development of basic listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Upon completion, students will be able to comprehend and respond to spoken and written Arabic with grammatical accuracy and demonstrate cultural awareness. Textbook is required and available in the college bookstore. Cost: $180

Arabic II
Improve upon the basic fundamental elements of modern standard Arabic language learned in Arabic I. Emphasis is placed on the progressive development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. This class focus on the language as it applies to daily survival and social needs such as reading and writing and understanding street signs, airports, restaurants, hospitals, shopping, culture, food, and geography. Upon completion, students should be able to comprehend and respond to spoken and written Arabic with increased proficiency while demonstrating further cultural awareness. Cost: $180

French Conversation I
Bonjour! You too can learn conversational French and be able to get around on a daily basis in French-speaking countries. Vocabulary and some basic grammar for traveling, shopping, dining, etc. will be included in this practical course. Textbook is required and available in the college bookstore.

Spanish for Beginners

Have you always wanted to learn how to speak Spanish? Now is your chance! Spanish for Beginners introduces basic vocabulary and phrases that can be used to start speaking immediately! Taught in a comfortable atmosphere with other beginners, our popular Spanish instructor will not only teach you simple phrases that can be used in personal and professional conversation but he will also introduce you to the culture and customs of South America. Build upon intermediate Spanish-speaking skill with Advanced Spanish. Learn the rules of proper grammar while increasing your awareness of the intricacies in everyday language. Practice complex conversation to increase confidence! Learn new and advanced vocabulary and sentence structure for use in business, travel and social interactions. Introduction to Spanish in the Workplace

Would you like to be able to better understand your Spanish-speaking colleagues and customers? Do you want to communicate more effectively? If so, this class provides you with a solid start. Knowing the basics of Spanish conversation helps improve communication and increases productivity and customer relations. This class provides English-speaking students with the basic Spanish vocabulary needed to improve workplace communication. No prior knowledge of the Spanish language is required. Cost: $150
